Under the baton of Maestro Demetrio Moricca, the program pairs two masterpieces of Romanticism: Mendelssohn’s celebrated “The Hebrides” Overture, an intense, captivating musical portrait of the wild Scottish coast, and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a vibrant celebration of Bohemian bucolic beauty expressed through lively orchestral textures and serene, passionate themes.
